An Ode to the Moods of Fall
All things
Pushing pace
Red
Yellow
Orange hues blurring through
Fall brings chills
And warm sunny days
Bringing an inch
Of rays across our skin
Before it all
Goes away
The tease of
What winter rawness
Drying our skin
The calm before
The winter storm
Looms overhead
Halting the warmth
Fall brings beauty
And suddenly it
Vanishes piece by piece
And
The snow patches over the dead limbs
Slowing speed
Till the first snow hits
